We are a team of passionate Premier League football enthusiasts dedicated to curating the ultimate matchday experiences. From the electric atmosphere of Anfield to the historic grounds of Old Trafford, we ensure every ticket and tour provides a memory of a lifetime.

Introduction: Why This Match Matters for Your European Adventure

When Liverpool takes on Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 this March (March 10–18, 2026), you're not just watching football—you're witnessing one of English football's greatest rivalries unfold on Europe's biggest club stage. This isn't simply about tickets. It's about experiencing two iconic stadiums, understanding a rivalry that spans generations, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

For fans traveling from Southeast Asia, this represents a unique opportunity to witness European football culture firsthand while discovering two of England's most distinctive cities. Whether you're a corporate group seeking premium hospitality, a passionate supporter following your team, or a football enthusiast exploring European matchday culture, this experience offers something genuinely special.

The reality is straightforward: matchday experience tourism is booming. Global travel platforms report that 44% of international travelers now specifically plan trips around sporting events. For fans aged 16–34, that number climbs to 56%. What was once considered a niche travel segment has transformed into mainstream sports tourism—and Champions League experiences remain its absolute pinnacle.

Understanding the Rivalry: A Century-Plus of English Football Drama

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have been competing since the 1890s. Across nearly 190 competitive meetings, their head-to-head record tells a compelling story: Liverpool has won 94 matches, Tottenham 50, with 44 draws. More recently, since 1995, Liverpool's dominance has been even more pronounced—36 victories against Spurs' 15 across 67 encounters.

Yet statistics don't capture the real narrative. Every Liverpool-Tottenham fixture carries psychological weight. These aren't distant rivals separated by hundreds of miles and different football philosophies. They're close neighbors in English football's traditional hierarchy, competing for Premier League titles and European glory year after year.

Consider the recent history. In April 2025, Liverpool obliterated Tottenham 5–1 at Anfield—a demonstration of superiority that sent shockwaves through English football. Four months later, in December 2025, Liverpool won 2–1 at Tottenham's ground in a fiercely contested encounter marked by red cards and intense physical engagement. These matches aren't polite competitions. They're emotional, high-stakes affairs where pride, tradition, and performance intersect.

This historical context transforms a Champions League Round of 16 fixture into something extraordinary. You won't be witnessing two random European clubs meeting in preliminary competition. You'll be watching two English institutions with century-spanning rivalry, storied trophy rooms, and contrasting visions of modern football collide on the European stage—where both clubs have significant Champions League history and genuine European ambition. Understanding this rivalry's depth adds immense context to the matchday experience.

The Stadiums: Contrasting Philosophy, Equal Iconic Status

Anfield: Where Football History Lives

Anfield opened in 1892. That's 134 years of continuous football heritage. When you walk through the Shankly Gates at Anfield, you're not simply entering a sporting venue—you're stepping into a living museum of football culture.

The capacity stands at 61,000 after recent expansions. Yet numbers don't convey Anfield's genuine power. The ground's psychological impact stems from atmosphere—not merely crowd noise, but coordinated emotional expression. Pre-kickoff, 61,000 supporters sing "You'll Never Walk Alone" in unison. This isn't background music. It's a ritualized expression of community, shared identity, and collective passion.

Anfield ranks consistently among Europe's most intimidating atmospheres, particularly during European competition nights. Football pundits, players, and media outlets regularly cite Anfield's ambiance as a competitive advantage. Teams arriving at Anfield for Champions League fixtures comment on the unique intensity—not aggressive hostility, but genuine, unified vocal engagement that creates an almost palpable sense of occasion.

The ground's architecture contributes to this atmosphere. Unlike many modern stadiums designed for premium hospitality comfort, Anfield prioritizes pitch-side proximity. Supporters sit genuinely close to the action. The Kop End—legendary in football circles—creates a visual and auditory tsunami during important moments. You don't simply watch matches at Anfield; you're immersed within them.

Beyond the pitch, Anfield houses a world-class museum documenting Liverpool's complete European history. The trophy room displays every European Cup won since 1977. Visitor tours include the player tunnel where legendary figures like Kenny Dalglish, Ian Callaghan, and Jamie Carragher walked toward immortality. You'll see the dugout, the press room, and the famous "This Is Anfield" sign—perhaps English football's most recognized landmark beyond Wembley Stadium. Exploring this historic stadium is transformative for first-time visitors.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: Modern Football Reimagined

Tottenham Hotspur opened its new stadium in 2019—a dramatic contrast to Anfield's Victorian era construction. The venue represents cutting-edge stadium design: 62,850 capacity (actually surpassing Anfield by 850 seats), making it London's largest football ground.

The architecture deliberately prioritizes premium experience. Tottenham's stadium was designed with corporate hospitality as a central philosophy. Seating positions fans unusually close to the pitch—4.9 to 7.9 meters from the touchline, competitive with Europe's best sightlines. Every seat genuinely offers a quality view; there are no obscured angles or compromised perspectives.

The South Stand remains remarkable. Single-tier design accommodates 17,500 supporters—reportedly Europe's largest single-tier stand. This creates a wall of supporters visible during televised matches. The stand's architectural ambition reflects Tottenham's modern identity: ambitious, technologically forward, and designed for the global football audience.

Beyond traditional facilities, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium features a retractable grass pitch. This isn't decorative technology; it's functional infrastructure allowing the same venue to host NFL games, concerts, and other events alongside football. Inside the stadium, the Beavertown Microbrewery operates a specialist craft beer concept—craft beverages available throughout the ground, reflecting contemporary hospitality expectations.

Premium hospitality at Tottenham reflects luxury hotel standards. VIP suites feature gourmet dining, premium beverages, exclusive lounge spaces, and viewing positions optimizing sightlines. The facility clearly targets high-spending corporate groups, executive entertainment, and wealthy individual supporters willing to pay premium prices for comfort alongside sport. Experiencing Tottenham's premium hospitality combines modern comfort with world-class football.

Comparing the Experiences: Which Suits Your Journey?

Dimension Anfield Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Atmosphere Quality Historic, legendary, emotionally intense; particularly powerful during European nights Modern, corporate-friendly; premium comfort prioritized over raw passion
Stadium Age & Heritage 134 years old; steeped in football history; physical connection to football's past 7 years old; cutting-edge technology; represents future-focused design philosophy
Crowd Experience Intimate pitch proximity; unified vocal engagement; sense of collective participation Superior sightlines; comfort-optimized seating; professional event atmosphere
Best For First-time Champions League attendees; atmosphere seekers; traditional football fans; pilgrimage experiences Corporate entertainment; VIP hospitality seekers; comfort-conscious travelers; modern design enthusiasts
Supporting Experience Stadium tour (2 hours); museum access; trophy room; player tunnel walk 90-minute guided tour; Dare Skywalk experience; modern architecture showcase
Local Context Liverpool city center (15 minutes by transport); Beatles heritage nearby; waterfront attractions North London; nearby attractions include Emirates Stadium, Tottenham cultural venues

The honest assessment: Anfield delivers emotional depth and historical resonance. You'll feel the weight of football history. Tottenham delivers comfort, modern luxury, and superior amenities. Neither experience is objectively "better"—they're fundamentally different philosophies about what football attendance should feel like in 2026.

Market Demand: Why Now Is the Moment for This Fixture

Sports tourism has transformed completely in five years. What was once considered a niche travel category is now mainstream entertainment spending. Global travel research from 2025-26 demonstrates clear trends:

44% of international travelers attended at least one sporting event during their recent overseas trips. That percentage rises to 56% for travelers aged 16–34—the demographic most likely to purchase European football experiences.

Why does 2026 represent a particularly strong moment? The calendar factors are significant. The fixture falls in March—before peak European summer tourism, meaning better accommodation availability and pricing. Spring weather in England is unpredictable but manageable. More importantly, the Champions League Round of 16 represents football's most intense competition period before the tournament narrows toward quarter-finals.

From a Southeast Asian perspective specifically, 2026 creates unique opportunity windows. The fixture sits outside major Asian travel holidays, reducing flight costs. The timezone is manageable (England's time sits only 7-8 hours behind Southeast Asia, compared to 8-9 hours for many North American destinations). Visa processes for UK travel are well-established and straightforward for most Southeast Asian nationalities.

Furthermore, corporate incentive travel and group sports tourism show accelerating growth in 2026. Companies increasingly recognize sports experiences as high-ROI team-building investments. Premium hospitality packages combine business entertainment with cultural tourism—appealing to both corporate budget holders and individual enthusiasts.

From a pure football perspective, both Liverpool and Tottenham regularly compete at the highest European level. Neither club is a fringe participant hoping to reach the Champions League; both are established European contenders. This means the fixtures genuinely matter competitively. You're not watching a ceremonial match; you're witnessing stakes-driven football at the competition's most prestigious level.

The Asia Advantage: Why Southeast Asian Fans Have Unique Opportunities

For supporters traveling from Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and surrounding regions, Champions League travel presents specific advantages often overlooked by European-centric travel companies.

Visa simplicity: Most Southeast Asian nationalities qualify for UK Standard Visitor visas through established processes. Application timeframes (typically 14–21 days) fit standard travel planning. UK visa fees range £115–£284 depending on visa length. Compared to North American or Australian visitors, Southeast Asian applications process smoothly with minimal complications.

Timezone management: While London sits 7–8 hours ahead of most Southeast Asia, this is substantially more manageable than North American travel (typically 8–9 hours ahead). Flight duration (approximately 13–16 hours direct or with one stop) is competitive with other long-haul travel.

Flight cost optimization: March represents shoulder season—neither peak European summer tourism nor Christmas/New Year holiday travel. Airline pricing typically reflects moderate levels, offering better value than August or December travel. From Southeast Asian hubs (Singapore Changi, Kuala Lumpur International), competitive routes to London Heathrow, Stansted, or Gatwick offer pricing across various budget ranges.

Currency management: While GBP/SGD, GBP/MYR, GBP/IDR rates fluctuate, Southeast Asian travelers benefit from established foreign exchange infrastructure. Credit card payments, ATM access, and currency conversion operate smoothly. Unlike less-established travel destinations, UK infrastructure accommodates international payment seamlessly.

Cultural accessibility: Southeast Asian fans already understand English-language sports media coverage extensively. Premier League matches broadcast live across the region. Champions League fixtures receive substantial English-language commentary. You're not traveling to an unfamiliar football culture; you're experiencing the heartland of a football tradition you've already followed.

Group coordination: Southeast Asia has established supporter club networks. Many fans travel through organized groups. Group travel packages provide discounts, shared logistics coordination, and cultural familiarity traveling together.

For travel operators specifically targeting Southeast Asian markets, this represents genuine competitive differentiation. Most premium football tourism companies focus exclusively on European, North American, or Australian customers. Companies offering Asia-specific guidance—visa processes, flight routing, timezone management, cultural context, payment flexibility for Asian customer bases—capture underserved demand. MatchdayAffairs specializes in precisely this market positioning, understanding Southeast Asian supporter needs intimately.

Booking Strategy: When and How to Secure Your Spot

Champions League Round of 16 tickets become available through specific channels on defined timelines.

Official club channels: Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur release tickets through official websites approximately 14–21 days before matchday. Prices at official sources typically range across various categories depending on seating location. Official channels prioritize season-ticket holders, members, and supporters through lottery systems. Individual matchday ticket availability through official sources is genuinely limited.

Authorized resellers: Multiple platforms distribute authorized allocations. These providers receive official ticket blocks from clubs and resell at standard markups. Availability through resellers typically exceeds official direct availability. Pricing and terms vary based on provider relationships with clubs.

Experience operators: Travel operators specializing in football tourism secure advance ticket allocations in exchange for commitments to deliver hotel and transport packages. This model guarantees availability independent of official sales release.

Booking timeline recommendations:
Initiate inquiries 90–120 days pre-match. Confirm package details 60 days pre-match. Finalize bookings 45 days pre-match. Arrange visas 45–60 days pre-match. Complete flights 30–45 days pre-match.

This timeline isn't arbitrary. It reflects how professional travel operations actually function. Accommodation blocks require advance commitment. Stadium allocations need confirmation. Transportation reservations require lead time. Visa applications need processing buffers.

Flexibility and customization: Professional operators understand that group needs vary. Some groups prioritize atmosphere over amenities; others prioritize comfort. Some want cultural exploration; others want pure football immersion. Responsive operators adapt standard packages to specific group preferences while maintaining operational efficiency.

Beyond the Match: Liverpool and London as Destinations

The matchday experience represents the centerpiece—but both cities offer substantial tourism value independently.

Liverpool: More Than Just Football

Liverpool's cultural identity extends far beyond football. The city produced The Beatles, revolutionizing global popular music. The Beatles Story museum documents the band's history, appeal, and cultural impact through interactive exhibits.

The Cavern Club—legendary venue where The Beatles performed regularly—operates as functioning live music venue and tourism destination. Penny Lane, Strawberry Field, and other Beatles-associated locations attract millions of visitors annually. For music enthusiasts, Liverpool represents essential cultural pilgrimage. Adding cultural dimensions to football experiences creates more meaningful trips that participants remember for years.

Beyond Beatles history, Liverpool's waterfront rivals Barcelona's gothic quarter or Prague's old town for historical European architecture. The city center features Georgian and Victorian buildings documenting centuries of commercial trading history. Museums cover maritime history (fitting for a port city), art, natural history, and local cultural development.

Albert Dock—waterfront development area—hosts restaurants, galleries, casual entertainment venues, and waterfront walking paths. The Liver Building, iconic 1911 Edwardian architecture, defines Liverpool's skyline. For visitors with 3–4 days, Liverpool offers realistic 72-hour exploration without feeling rushed.

London: Europe's Global Capital

London requires minimal introduction. The city combines history spanning centuries with contemporary culture. Tourists typically prioritize major attractions: Tower Bridge, Big Ben/Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, British Museum, National Gallery, South Bank cultural venues.

For 4-day London stays incorporated into Champions League packages, guided tours typically emphasize major highlights plus neighborhoods relevant to football culture—West End entertainment areas, dining quarters, shopping districts.

London's public transport efficiency (Underground railway system) makes independent exploration realistic. Visitors with basic planning can navigate the city comfortably using Oyster cards or contactless payment.

The combination of central London cultural attractions plus Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (located in North London) creates natural itinerary flow: cultural tourism in central areas, stadium experience in northern zones, evening entertainment in West End or South Bank. Structuring London-based trips thoughtfully maximizes both football and cultural experiences within limited timeframes.

Addressing Common Concerns: What Supporters Actually Ask

How guaranteed are tickets if I book a package?

Professional travel operators maintain confirmed allocations with clubs. Operators holding advance allocations guarantee availability to package customers. Unlike individuals attempting individual ticket purchases through official channels (where availability remains uncertain), package operators can confirm tickets at booking time. This certainty eliminates the frustration of attempting individual ticket procurement through increasingly competitive official sales processes.

What if matches get postponed or rescheduled?

UEFA Champions League Round of 16 fixtures occasionally require rescheduling due to domestic cup replays, weather, or operational factors. Responsible operators include specific terms: if UEFA officially postpones fixtures beyond a defined window (typically 7 days), operators refund deposits or offer alternative fixture rebooking. This protects both operator and customer. Understanding cancellation policies upfront prevents misunderstandings and provides confidence in booking decisions.

Is March weather manageable?

English March weather is genuinely unpredictable. Average temperatures range 5–10°C (41–50°F). Rain is common; snow is possible but uncommon. Visitors should pack layered clothing, waterproof jackets, and comfortable walking shoes. This isn't extreme weather, but it's distinctly cooler than tropical Southeast Asia. Preparation is essential. Weather guides help visitors prepare appropriately without stress or surprise.

How do I manage jet lag traveling from Southeast Asia?

Eastbound travel (west to east across timezones) generally presents more jet lag than westbound. With 7–8 hour timezone differences and 13–16 hour flight durations, expect 24–48 hours of sleep disruption. Arriving 2–3 days pre-match allows acclimatization before matchday. Many travelers find this timeline natural. Pre-travel guidance helps manage expectations and prepare mentally for sleep schedule adjustments.

Is the atmosphere intimidating for first-time visitors?

Both Anfield and Tottenham welcome international supporters consistently. Pre-match atmospherics involve celebration and vocal engagement rather than aggression. Safety records at both venues rank among Europe's best. Visitors are genuinely welcome, particularly when arriving respectfully and engaging authentically with supporter culture. First-time visitor guidance provides confidence and explains what to expect culturally.

Can families with children attend?

Yes. Both venues accommodate child spectators. Specific seating sections designate family areas. Experience packages often include family-friendly options. Younger children (under 8) sometimes require lap-sitting arrangements; check venue policies. Family-focused guides explain child accommodations and help families plan appropriately.

What about dietary requirements or mobility access?

Both stadiums accommodate dietary specifications (vegetarian, vegan, religious requirements, allergies). Advanced notice enables catering customization. Mobility access includes wheelchair spaces, accessible toilets, accessible concourse routes, and available assistance. Communicate specific requirements during booking; operators arrange accommodation proactively.

The Competitive Landscape: Why Your Choice of Provider Matters

The sports tourism market includes established competitors with decades of operational experience. These operators excel at established operations. They've delivered thousands of packages across years. Their scale provides operational efficiency and institutional knowledge.

Yet they share a structural limitation: European or Western focus. Most premium football tourism companies target European-based customers, North American travelers, and established wealthy markets. Southeast Asia represents a secondary market at best.

This creates opportunity for operators positioning Asia-first. With market understanding of Southeast Asian customer bases, payment preferences, visa processes, travel expectations, and communication styles, operators can create genuinely differentiated positioning.

Content authority matters significantly. Comprehensive resources addressing Asian fans' unique questions—visa guidance, flight routing, timezone management, currency considerations—build trust and demonstrate genuine market specialization versus generic "European football tours."

Customization beyond rigid templates appeals to discerning customers. Willingness to build bespoke packages accommodating group dynamics, budget variations, and customer preferences distinguishes thoughtful operators from template-driven competitors.

Transparency around all-in pricing without hidden fees aligns with customer expectations around honest dealing. Clear communication about what's included, what's excluded, and why specific choices matter builds confidence in booking decisions.

Local partnerships with Liverpool/London hotels, restaurants, transport providers enable better rates than aggregator platforms and create operational advantages that benefit customers through superior service delivery.

Calculating Your Return on Investment: Why These Experiences Deliver Value

For corporate or group buyers, matchday packages represent investment worthy of budget consideration beyond "entertainment spending."

Team-building ROI: Research on corporate sports experiences demonstrates measurable team outcomes. Shared high-engagement experiences (like Champions League matchdays) increase team cohesion metrics, improve communication, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. Unlike typical corporate retreats, sports events generate genuine shared memories and talking points lasting months post-event.

Client entertainment value: For B2B companies, premium matchday experiences represent client-facing entertainment distinguishing you from competitors. Offering VIP Champions League experiences demonstrates investment in client relationships beyond transactional business.

Executive motivation: For larger organizations, Champions League packages function as executive incentive rewards recognizing performance. The aspirational nature of premium European sports experiences motivates achievement.

Cost-per-experience: Comparing experience packages to traditional corporate retreat alternatives shows competitive pricing while delivering substantially higher engagement and memorability.

Longevity of memory: Unlike meals, meetings, or standard retreats often forgotten within months, major sporting events create lasting mental associations. Participants recall Champions League experiences years later—providing enduring brand/organizational association.

Corporate investment guides help business decision-makers justify sports tourism budgets through documented ROI frameworks and case studies.

From individual traveler perspective, matchday packages deliver concentrated experiences justifying travel investment. Rather than arriving in European city without clear purpose, packages provide structured itinerary, guaranteed match attendance, quality accommodation, logistical coordination, and cultural context—transforming vague "European trip" concept into defined, meaningful experience.

Planning Your Journey: Timeline and Logistics

90 Days Pre-Match: Research and Initial Inquiry

Research operators offering Champions League packages. Identify experience tier aligning with budget and preference. Contact providers requesting detailed package information. Review terms: what's included, what's excluded, cancellation policies, payment structure.

Ask specific questions: exact hotel properties (not generic descriptions), confirmed seating locations, hospitality specifics, included meals detail, transport arrangements, tour inclusions.

Discuss group coordination if traveling as team/supporter club. Clarify group discounts, separate itineraries if mixed group preferences exist. MatchdayAffairs' consultation process helps clarify preferences and identify optimal package fit.

60 Days Pre-Match: Booking and Commitment

Confirm package selection. Submit booking with required commitments.

For visa-requiring nationalities, begin UK visa application immediately. Processing typically takes 14–21 days, but allow buffer time for unexpected delays.

Once package is confirmed, receive package details documentation: confirmed hotel properties, exact match details, hospitality specifics, tour timings, transport arrangements, dining reservations, emergency contact numbers, tour leader details.

45 Days Pre-Match: Logistics Finalization

Book flights from Southeast Asia to UK airport. March represents shoulder season; pricing is typically reasonable. Aim for arrival 2–3 days pre-match (allowing acclimatization).

Confirm visa application status. Most Southeast Asian applications process smoothly within timelines.

Review travel documentation requirements: passport validity, travel insurance (highly recommended despite not mandatory), vaccination records if health entry requirements apply.

Communicate any dietary requirements, mobility needs, or special circumstances to operator.

30 Days Pre-Match: Final Preparations

Arrange travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss. Premium travel insurance typically costs reasonable amounts for week-long trips.

Review package itinerary in detail. Understand exact meeting times, locations, transport arrangements.

Pack appropriately for English March weather: layers, waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes. Include umbrella; rain is common.

Inform your bank/credit card providers about travel dates to prevent fraud-detection blocks on international card use.

Final Week: Departure Preparation

Reconfirm all flights and hotel bookings. Ensure passports and visa stamps are present and valid. Have accommodation confirmation emails accessible (digital or printed).

Bring operator emergency contact numbers (phone and WhatsApp). Register with your national embassy if residing far from diplomatic representation.

Arrange airport transport to/from Southeast Asian departure point.

MatchdayAffairs' pre-departure checklist ensures nothing is overlooked during final preparations.

It was an unforgettable YNWA experience in which I got the back2back tickets for e Napoli and Brighton matches thru Mirza's matchday affairs. Mirza was attentive to details & feedback, & thru his link with e local agency, had a pleasant surprise treat by him for the latter match. Highly recommended and will go thru him again to get the match day tickets the next time…

Never thought we would have been able to watch Liverpool at Anfield. It was a fantastic experience in a wonderful stadium – was chanting and singing the whole game and 90mins just passed so quickly. Exhilarating match against City!! Thanks Dela and Mirza for taking care of my family and I. It was an unforgettable trip for us from start till end. The stadium tour, the food, the mural hunting and shopping – awesome!! YNWA….

Watched the final match of the season at Anfield and a poignant farewell to the gaffer in the Liverpool vs Wolves match. Had a fabulous time and thanks to Mirza and Dela of Matchday Affairs who went the extra mile to ensure we – all 40 of us! – were all well taken care of all the way, patiently accommodating various requests and to provide us with a great experience. The mural hunt was fun, lunches provided were awesome and the company was great. Made new friends and created wonderful memories to last a lifetime. Thanks again Matchday Affairs 5 star rating 🌟

I read reviews of Matchday Affairs before I decided to engage its services for the Liverpool vs Man U match last Dec 2023, and I'm happy that I made the decision. It was a fantastic experience with a small tour group that keeps it intimate. Mirza is professional yet able to balance the whole experience as casual and friendly. Kak Dela was awesome in sharing advices and information to make our trip a memorable one. The itinerary was very relaxed yet fulfilling. Fully recommended and it won't be the last time that I follow Matchday Affairs to Anfield!!

Thanks to Matchday Affairs for helping us to secure the matchday tickets for Liverpool vs Arsenal at Anfield! The team, esp Dela, was very responsive throughout the whole process and also patient when answering our questions even though the questions may not be directly related to the match itself (e.g about the LFC pre-match walkabout). Getting into the stadium was fuss free and they secured good seats for us as well. Will definitely purchase from Matchday Affairs again, thank you!

Family Trip Dec 2023

It was my first trip to Liverpool. Mirza has been communicative and accommodating to my requests. The itinerary were all well thought out and we managed to catch 3 Liverpool matches! Made a lot of new friends and I really enjoyed myself there. I have taken tour packages in the past and so far, this was the best experience! For those who wants to visit Anfield, look no further. Matchday Affairs is the only one to go to. As one of the Kaka in the group said, " the only affair you are allowed to have, is Matchday Affairs. " YNWA!

Thanks to Mirza for planning this trip to make it more meaningful and awesome for me and the rest! It was my first time going to Anfield and it was an unforgettable experience. We get to explore the city as well as shopping. Visited numerous LFC store and also had a great photo opportunity. He brought us to good makan place and have a great knowledge of the places of interest within the city whenever we go. Even planned a day trip to Manchester and do more shopping and visited the other 2 stadiums. Thank you once again, will definitely consider in the future! Thanks Mirza for the wonderful experience!

This is indeed a real deal. I was skeptical about this tour/service. Many questionable stuff came out during the process of booking and waiting. However it were all answered when we in the stadium. It is a legitimate tour by one man show. Very accommodating on our request and flexible on the itinerary provided. We did museum tour at Old Trafford and Anfield, went on visit the Etihad stadium as well. It will be great if given more options on hotels and seats in the stadium. Thank you for organising the trip to Old Trafford. Indeed a memorable one.

Went for the final game of Liverpool (vs Wolves on 19 May 2024. Was really glad that I was able to get the anticipated final matchday (Klopp's final game) tickets and that was mainly what got me to commit to Matchday Affairs in the first place. Mirza and Dela work tirelessly to give us the fan experience; going to the AXA training ground, wait by the Titanic hotel, mural hunting and more. It's been a great trip because of all new friends you make along the way who will 'never let you walk alone' 😆 I'm glad that my fan experience was fulfilled by Matchday Affairs and I had the extended package with 2 days in London – I thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt a lot; it being my first time in London. Thank you Mirza & Dela!

Klopp's Final Game

Everyone can watch a live football match of your beloved club. But to watch it together with like-minded club supporters in Liverpool coming all the way from Singapore is truly a religious affair… Dela and Mirza are no ordinary tour organizers, they are part of this football religion. They actually made customized hoodies for us and our hero! What can we say…

Great trip! Great tours! Great food! Great people! Matchday Affair has won my heart from day one. Mirza and Dela were very personable and took care of all our needs….. from check-ins to watching the games and even helping us look for toilets…. they're always there for us. I love it personally as they keep close to our great club's YNWA. Even though our group of 28 of us, they seemed to always manage to gather us around and kept us closely knitted. If it's your maiden trip, I highly recommend Matchday Affair…. your travel partner to Liverpool!!
